Payment with a credit card

You can pay for your registration fee and banquet tickets using a Visa or MasterCard international credit card. Print the Payment form, (pdf file), fill in the required data in the second page, and send it by fax. The first page contains some relevant information.

Note that debit cards are not accepted.

You can use this form of payment until May 15, 2008.

Payment by bank transfer

You may also pay for your registration fee and banquet tickets by bank transfer. Ask your bank to transfer the desired amount in U.S Dollars (or its equivalent in Euros) to the account of the Local Organizing Committee in Mexico City. Please add 18 US dollars to compensate for the commission charged by the receiving bank for each foreign transfer.

The information required for the transfer is the following:

After sending the bank transfer, please send an e-mail to

ilas08@star.izt.uam.mx

containing the transfer information: total amount sent, date, name of sending bank, and the transaction identification code. Include also a description of what you are paying for (registration fees, banquet tickets), and the names of the participants for which you are paying the fees.

Note that foreing transfers take 2 to 5 days to be deposited in the receiving account, therefore our acknowledgement of receipt will take several days.

Send your transfer in pesos using the exchange rate of the day of the transfer. You do not pay the 18 dollars commission.

Paying upon arrival in Cancun

A third option is to pay cash upon arrival at the ILAS Conference registration desk.

Only U.S. Dollars, Euros, and mexican pesos will be accepted for payments in cash.

There are Automatic Teller Machines near the hotel lobby, where you can get cash (in mexican pesos) using most international debit cards.

Due to technical problems, we will not be able to accept credit cards for the payment of registration fees in Cancún.
